LiveCue ("we", "us") provides a browser extension and service that transcribes the audio of your current browser tab and answers your questions about it. This policy explains what we collect and why.
The short version: we never record or store your audio, and we never read the content of the web pages you visit. Speech-to-text happens inside your browser; only the questions you choose to submit reach our servers.
What we collect
- Account information — your email address, used to create and secure your account and send sign-in codes.
- Your questions — the text of the questions you submit to receive AI answers.
- Usage records — your credit balance and a history of your questions, so we can show your usage and run the service.
- Payment information — handled entirely by our payment processor (Razorpay). We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details.
What we do not collect
- We do not record or store your audio.
- We do not read or store the content of the web pages you visit.
- We do not sell your data to anyone.
How we use your information
- To generate answers to your questions via trusted AI providers.
- To manage your account, credits, and subscriptions.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
Third parties we use
- Supabase — authentication and database.
- AI providers — process the text of your questions to generate answers, for that purpose only.
- Resend — sends your sign-in code emails.
- Razorpay — processes payments securely.
Data retention
We keep your account and usage data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data anytime by emailing hello@livecue.in.
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with encryption at rest. Access is restricted and audited.
Your rights
You may access, correct, or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent, by contacting us at hello@livecue.in. We respond in line with applicable law, including India's DPDP Act.
Children
LiveCue is not intended for users under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
