LiveCue for Zoom

LiveCue works with Zoom meetings that are open in Google Chrome. It hears the meeting, spots the questions people ask and shows a clear answer on your screen within seconds.

First, join the Zoom meeting from your browser

LiveCue's web app listens to a Chrome tab, so open the meeting in Chrome rather than in the Zoom desktop app. When you click a Zoom link, the page that opens tries to launch the app; it also offers a link to join from your browser, which can appear after you click Launch meeting. If you don't see that link, the host may have turned off joining from a browser.

Then start LiveCue

  1. Join the Zoom meeting in a Chrome tab on your computer.
  2. In another tab, open livecue.in/app and sign in.
  3. Press Start. When Chrome asks what to share, pick the Zoom tab and keep Also share tab audio switched on.
  4. The LiveCue window opens and stays on top while you switch tabs and apps. When someone asks a question, the answer appears there within seconds.

LiveCue uses only the tab's sound, never its picture.

Prefer the Chrome extension? Add LiveCue to Chrome, open your meeting tab and click the LiveCue icon on it. LiveCue opens in Chrome's side panel, next to your call. Press Start and it hears the meeting tab directly, so headphones are fine too.

Good for

During the call

Will the others see LiveCue?

No bot joins your call, so the others in the meeting don't see LiveCue unless you show it to them. If you present, share a tab: a tab share never shows LiveCue. The web app's floating window also stays out of window shares. The extension's side panel is part of the Chrome window, so sharing that window shows it. Sharing your entire screen shows either one.
