LiveCue › Use LiveCue in AI apps
Use LiveCue in Claude and ChatGPT
Add LiveCue to your AI app once and sign in with your LiveCue account. Then ask in plain words, and the AI works with your own LiveCue: your CV profile, the jobs you are preparing for, your prepared answers and your credits.
What you can ask
- "Prepare me for my Zomato interview tomorrow." The AI reads your CV profile, saves the job, writes answers to the common interview questions with you, in your words, and saves them to LiveCue. In the real interview, LiveCue shows those answers at once.
- "Practise with me." The AI asks you the questions one at a time, like an interviewer, and helps you improve your saved answers.
- "How many LiveCue credits do I have?", "Make Expert my answer mode" or "Add notes for tomorrow's call: a panel of two, they care about SQL."
In Claude, the ready-made prompt "Prepare me for an interview" in the / menu does the first one for you.
Connect LiveCue to Claude
- In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it LiveCue, and enter this address:
https://livecue.in/mcp - Choose Connect. A LiveCue page opens. Sign in to LiveCue if it asks, choose what Claude may do, and choose Allow.
This works on every Claude plan, on the web, the desktop app and the phone app. Claude's Free plan allows one custom connector.
Connect LiveCue to ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT's settings, turn on Developer mode.
- Add a new app with this address:
https://livecue.in/mcp - Sign in to LiveCue when the LiveCue page opens, choose what ChatGPT may do, and choose Allow.
OpenAI changes these menus often, and some plans don't offer Developer mode yet.
Other AI apps
Any app that takes MCP servers can use the same address, https://livecue.in/mcp. In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http livecue https://livecue.in/mcp. Cursor and VS Code take it in their MCP settings. When an app on your computer connects, the LiveCue page says so.
What the AI app may do
You choose when you connect, and you can change it anytime on your Account page, under AI apps:
- Read only: see your plan and credits, CV profile, saved jobs, prepared answers and preferences.
- Read and change (the usual choice): also save and edit jobs, prepared answers, your CV profile and your preferences. These changes are free.
- Also use credits: also let LiveCue's own AI write your prepared answers or build your CV profile, which costs credits as on the website. The AI app tells you the price and asks you first, and it can't spend more than the daily limit you set (10 credits unless you change it).
Answers that your AI app writes with you and saves to LiveCue cost nothing. Using them in a real interview costs credits as usual.
What it can never do
- It can't pay. Credits are bought only on livecue.in, by you.
- It can't delete your account, or change your email address or password.
- It can't see anybody else's data, and it has no admin features.
- It doesn't listen to your calls. That stays in your browser, as now.
Privacy
Your AI app sees only what you ask it to read or change in LiveCue, such as your CV profile or your saved jobs. The company behind it, such as Anthropic for Claude or OpenAI for ChatGPT, handles that text under its own privacy policy. LiveCue never sees your conversations with the AI app, and the app never sees your LiveCue password.
LiveCue keeps which apps you connected and what you allowed them, and for each tool an app uses, which one and when, never what was in it. These records are deleted after 90 days. The privacy policy has every detail.
Disconnect an app
On your Account page, under AI apps, choose Disconnect next to the app, then once more to confirm. It stops working with your LiveCue at once. You can connect it again later.
